PharmaCore India 2026

Advancing the manufacture of KSMs, APIs, Formulations, and Excipients for Resilient Industry Growth.

Mumbai platform to support India’s journey toward self-reliance with focused sectors: APIs, KSMs, formulations, and excipients.

MUMBAI, INDIA: Messe Muenchen India, in collaboration with the Indian Drug Manufacturers’ Association (IDMA), has announced PharmaCore India 2026, a dedicated trade fair focused on further strengthening India’s pharmaceutical sector. Scheduled to be held from 22-24 April 2026 at Jio Convention Centre in Mumbai, the event will serve as West India’s only strategic marketplace for critical pharmaceutical segments — APIs, formulations, chemicals, and excipients.

PharmaCore India 2026 draws on the combined experience of Messe Muenchen India (MMI), a leading organizer of trade fair events, and the Indian Drug Manufacturers’ Association (IDMA), a longstanding advocate for high-quality, local pharmaceutical manufacturing. This joint initiative is designed to complement the existing industry landscape, offering a space for collaboration, dialogue, and progress in new and existing product pipelines. While India has rightfully earned its reputation as the “pharmacy of the world,” there remains an ongoing need to advance domestic KSM and API capabilities and reduce import reliance.

Highlighting the purpose of this initiative, Bharat N Shah, National President of IDMA, stated: “PharmaCore India is a step towards addressing some of the sector’s priorities. By focusing on KSMs, APIs, formulations, and excipients, our aim is to provide members and stakeholders with an opportunity to strengthen supply chains, foster innovation, and exchange knowledge to support industry growth.”

Mumbai is the ideal venue for the launch of PharmaCore India 2026, blending industry leadership, regulatory access, and international trade. The city’s concentration of top pharmaceutical companies, advanced infrastructure, and direct links to government and global buyers make it the perfect place for meaningful partnerships and impactful industry engagement.

Bhupinder Singh, President IMEA, Messe Muenchen and CEO of Messe Muenchen India, highlighted the event’s role as a comprehensive ecosystem addressing the sector’s critical challenges. “PharmaCore India, in collaboration with IDMA, is designed to create an open and collaborative environment for West India’s pharmaceutical sector. By bringing together leading manufacturers, innovators, and stakeholders, we aim to foster regional progress in APIs, formulations, and chemical inputs—facilitating industry partnerships, supporting shared growth, and advancing the sector in meaningful ways.”
